Earlier this month, Kev and I pampered ourselves with a stay at Calgary Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel en route to Toronto. This new vibrant stylish hotel offers modern luxury accommodations that helped us awaken refreshed, recharged and ready for the journey ahead!

Just opened this September, Marriott In-Terminal Hotel is the only luxury hotel conveniently located within the Calgary Airport. Situated a few steps away from the new International Terminal, the hotel is less than 5 minutes from the lobby to the gates. For the utmost luxury experience, I highly recommended booking a room on the concierge-level, the top floor of the hotel. The room size and layout are impressive, with floor-to-ceiling windows wrapped around the entire room. You’ll even find a telescope inside the room for your viewing enjoyment! I could spot planes taking off as well as skyscrapers in downtown Calgary! The best part is having access to the exclusive M Club Lounge, where hot breakfast, hors d’oeuvres, snacks and refreshments are provided throughout the day.
Even if you’re not *really* traveling outside the city, this could be a great staycation idea for couples who want to scratch the itch!

A few amenities are available for us to take advantage of at the hotel, including a fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, and on-site restaurant.
Could you imagine looking out to the tarmac and the city while working out? And, dispensable earphones and cool towels are at your disposal- what a nice touch!

Alternatively, take a swim and forget the day in the indoor pool, which is open daily from 6 am-10 pm!

Very rarely do I enjoy hotel food, but Yakima Social Kitchen and Bar blew my mind with their Calgary curated, globally inspired dishes. The sandwiches, especially braised & pulled elk sandwich, really highlighted the distinct, local flavours of Alberta! Pair them with the outstanding, handcrafted cocktails. Rose fizz and Saskatoon mule are our favourites. For something stronger, I’d suggest trying their smoked old fashioned.
Even if you’re not a hotel guest, you’re welcome to dine in at Yakima. The restaurant provides up to 4 hours of free valet parking!

Summary
Calgary Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel offered a truly enchanting experience with first-rate hospitality. The room was clean, spacious and well-equipped. The staff were wonderful and did their best to make our stay pleasant. I would confidently say that this has completely changed my perception of airport hotels!
Whether you are on a business or leisure trip, late flight arrival or early departure, Marriott In-Terminal Hotel is the perfect place to stay, dine and relax in Calgary!

I love hotels that are right next to the airport terminals. This one looks like a nice one, as well. These hotels make air travel seem much easier.

That hotel is STUNNING. I might be heading out to visit my sister in Calgary in the winter and will 100% be looking into this place if I bring my husband.

This looks like a dream! I once had a very early morning flight from YYC but when I got to the airport I miss calculated with 2.5 hours. I wish I could have spent time at the Marriot hotel instead of the airport benches!

I totally know what you mean about early flights. Booking a hotel connected to the airport sounds so convenient. This place looks incredibly luxurious and that pool looks fantastic!
I only recently stayed at an in-airport hotel for the first time this year. It was such a relaxing experience! Marriott Calgary looks fantastic. I would definitely consider staying at this in-airport hotel if I have an early flight.
