I have only visited Edmonton for work and really did not get to see much of the city. I knew the West Edmonton Mall was a big draw. But there are some good new ideas here. Love the idea of a hidden away speakeasy. The twisty ice cream looks like a great treat to try. But I would never have thought o Edmonton as a place to learn how to make French pastries!! Good to know there is a Cacao 70 in Edmonton to keep my chocoholic hubby happy. Some good options for a next visit.

What a great post! I live in Edmonton and didn’t even realize some of these things existed! I’ll definitely be trying Yelo’d. Sounds delicious! I love Duchess so much. It is an iconic Edmonton spot for sure. Jacek chocolate shop has a chocolate tasting a few Saturdays each month, and it is a great date night activity as well. It is in Sherwood Park so not really accessible if you don’t have a car. But if you have a car, it is definitely worth checking out. Or tea at the Fairmont. That’s always fun too.
