What do you look for when booking a luxury hotel? Is it the location? Service? Cleanliness and comfort? Or dining options? What if I told you that you can score a hotel room with all of the above, PLUS a stunning view, in downtown Barcelona without breaking the bank? Last month when we were in Barcelona, we had the time of our life at Hotel Arts Barcelona. It has everything we needed for a luxury romantic escape and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could possibly be! If you’re looking to pamper yourself and your loved one in Barcelona, look no further than Hotel Arts Barcelona!
Discover the Best of Both Worlds at Hotel Arts Barcelona
Ever dreamt of having a relaxing beach holiday and a city break? At Hotel Arts Barcelona, you can truly have the best of both worlds. Soaring high above the Mediterranean seafront in Barcelona’s Olympic Village area, this 5-star luxury hotel is intimately connected to the buzzing city center, yet magically separated due to its beach front setting.
Towering high into the air right next to the iconic Gold Fish Sculpture by Frank Gehry, this Barcelona luxury hotel is a landmark on the city’s skyline. With 44 stories of blue glass and exposed steel, the structure exudes modern elegance. The spacious and contemporary interior does not fail to impress either, not to mention the gorgeous fresh flower displays throughout the property created by the in-house floral designer!

A Room with a View
At Hotel Arts Barcelona, no matter which room you stay in, you will be greeted with a stunning view! The main difference among the different luxury guest rooms is the views. A panoramic landscape of Barcelona city centre or the Mediterranean sea – take your pick!
Once you set foot inside the room, you’ll never want to leave. Featuring large windows and strikingly beautiful views, the bright and spacious room accommodates a functional work desk, sitting area, and a super comfortable king-sized bed to ensure you can get a decent night’s sleep.
Another highlight is the massive bathroom with a double basin countertop (no more fighting over that single sink!), a separate shower and bath tub, and a private toilet. It offers an irresistible invitation to relax and rejuvenate!
Personalized Service at The Club
The service at Hotel Arts Barcelona, especially the concierge, was above and beyond any hotel we had ever stayed. To receive a more personalized service, I would recommend upgrading to the Club. Being a Club Level guest, you will have access to the upper floors and will be pampered with extra attentive service!
As a Club Level guest, Kev and I were treated like celebrities and the exclusive perks and special touches really made our luxury romantic escape even more remarkable:
- a separate reception for check-in and check-out
- private access to the Club Lounge on the 33rd floor
- a dedicated concierge team attending to all our needs during the stay
- 5 delicious complimentary culinary offerings served throughout the day (breakfast, snack, tea time, evening hors d’oeuvres, desserts)
- complimentary Wi-Fi
- 2 complimentary pieces of ironing
With panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and a quiet atmosphere, the Club Lounge was no doubt our favourite spot to hang out in the hotel!

World-Class Food Experience
No time to grab a bite outside the hotel? No worries. With six restaurants on-site, you have plenty of delicious options to please your palate!
Start your day with a sumptuous breakfast buffet at Café Veranda. In the summer, enjoy outdoor dining and refuel with a refreshing sea-to-table menu selection from Marina. For a quick bite on the go, stop by Bites. The chic restaurant offers a range of light dishes throughout the day. At Arola, Chef Sergi Arola presents creative tapas that pair nicely with the spectacular cocktails mixed by award-winning bartender Diego Baud. Enoteca, a two Michelin-starred restaurant, showcases Chef Paco Perez’s contemporary take on classic Mediterranean cuisine, using fresh local ingredients. The tasting menu is worth the indulgence! Before you call it a day, get whisked away by a handcrafted cocktail at Frank’s.

If you have a sweet tooth, stop by the Rocambolesc stand by the pool. Owned by Jordi Roca, the youngest of the three brothers behind El Celler de Can Roca (the world’s 3rd best restaurants), Rocambolesc’s gelato will have you coming back for more!
True Relaxation at 43 The Spa
A luxury romantic getaway is not complete without a spa treatment. Located on the uppermost floors of Hotel Arts Barcelona, 43 The Spa offers various treatments to restore balance to your body, mind, and soul. We spent a lazy afternoon at the spa unwinding and soothing away all the tensions in the body. The best part was that after the treatment, we were welcomed to use the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. The relaxation area even has a terrace with an amazing view!!
If you’re looking to rekindle your romance while in Barcelona, why not book a stay at Hotel Arts Barcelona. With amazing views, fantastic food and top-notch service, your significant other will surely be impressed!

This hotel and its location are ideal to experience the cosmopolitan, modern vibe of Barcelona. We stayed at LasRamblas near the old town and the atmosphere of the city was entirely different there.
This certainly looks like a first class hotel and your description and photos certainly paint a very attractive picture indeed. What also makes it so great is the value you said you received aside from the service and lovely facilities. This would definitely be on my list to check out when in Barcelona!
Hotel Arts Barcelona looks beautiful. I was in Barcelona earlier on in the year and was recommended this hotel by a friend – we ended up spending the whole day – and evening, in Barcelona, but then headed along the coast to Salou and stayed there. I wish I had stayed there now, at least for one night. Great review – thanks for sharing!
Wow. That looks like the heights of Luxury. You say it won’t break the bank but can’t see how that is possible b
I actually remember that building when I was in Barcelona! I had no idea that it was so nice!! Club level seems I’ve it’s worth it for the food and ironing! I hope I get to check it out!
That is an amazing structure. Love the interiors as well and the view from the top is just something to wake up to.
Barcelona is a major city on my wish list — I love Gaudi’s architecture, and so going to the Sagrada Familia is a big deal. The Hotel Arts looks like a perfect, quiet get-away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoyed reading about this lovely hotel!
Seems like a perfect getaway to explore the city! My mom wants to take me to Barcelona for ages, so maybe one day we will be staying at the Hotel Arts 😉
Wow, Hotel Arts Barcelona is seriously hotel goals. I love the attention to detail, just look at those cocktails! From the pictures I thought this was in Dubai, as I’ve never seen many coastal pictures from Barcelona – it’s gorgeous! Will definitely try to remember this hotel if I ever make my way to Barcelona.
This hotel looks AMAZING! The view is incredible – would love to wake up to that everyday. And so cool that they have lots of great restaurants on site. I’m thinking of heading to Spain this fall – will definitely keep this bookmarked!
This hotel looks amazing! Your photos highlight many of the reasons I look for places like these to experience and stay in. The views you were able to showcase make me want to book a trip right now and check in!
I love staying at the club level. We have done this a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed it. (sometimes, too much so… but that is another story to be told over a bottle of sambuca.) I love the amenities and location this property and also that you will never have a bad view.
Looks like a luxurious and contemporary hotel with great views! I like the clean look and design and the location seems perfect.
The presentation of the food is so pretty!! And I love how it can be like a beach holiday and city break at the same time! Nice 🙂
Hotel Arts Barcelona looks like a wonderful hotel! I love the design of the rooms, the lobby and the pool. The cocktails all look delicious and creative, too!
Oh my gosh. This place looks amazing inside and out!! I’d love the VIP treatment. As you said, I’d never want to leave my room– especially if I had one that looked out on the sea. 🙂
I love the photos especially the drone shots. They look very beautiful! the food pictures are amazing!
The Hotel Arts Barcelona looks like the perfect place to stay in Barcelona. I love how it has large windows making the room so light and also getting a view of the city. The eating options look incredible, 6 different restaurants! I love cocktails and the presentation of the cocktails at the bar looks very unique.
Love luxury hotel like this one! The Cub access is just awesome! Food looked so yummy as well. And I’d love to try the spa too and all the way up there at 43rd floor offers different views of the city.
Hotel Arts Barcelona is indeed a lovely hotel. I love the fact that it has the best of both worlds. The sea on one side and the presence of a bustling urban centre on the other. I am sure this hotel offers a great and unforgettable experience and indeed value for money.
Wow! It sounds like a great place to stay – but I wouldn’t spend any time exploring Barcelona! I’d be too busy ‘exploring’ all the places to eat and tucking in to my complimentary eats 😀 It’d be tough to choose between the city and sea views – they both sound like winners!
You had me at cocktails at Arola and Frank’s!! The views from the hotel rooms look gorgeous, and you’re making me want to go to the beach. Would definitely consider staying at Hotel Arts Barcelona the next time we’re in Spain!
OMG! This is luxurious beyond words!
I may just forget touring Barcelona city and just spend time here. Their food presentation amazes me. Juice in packet!!! And a bird for company! I have not seen anything like that ever.
Wow! This hotel is gorgeous! We love Barcelona and have been there several times, but always stay in boutique hotels. Since we’re not big fans of staying in skyscrapers, we’d probably just try out one of the restaurants for the views. Thanks for sharing your review.
The omelette station looks amazing, and this looks a lot like the view from Montjuic. Barcelona is one of my favorite places!
Good views and good food- you have me sold! Gott love hotels that offer an omelette station. I dont think Id want to leave the hotel if I stayed here haha, its too luxurious!
I love the name of the hotel, Hotel Arts, and looking at your experiences, it’s great they are great at services too. Food, especially, looks top-notch…
I’ve been to Barcelona several times (Even got married there), but never stayed or dined at Hotel Arts. I’ve read great things about it so I will make sure to check it out on our next trip…
Hotel Arts Barcelona sounds like an incredible accommodation experience – we recently visited Barcelona on a short stopover and really fell in love with the city, though only had two days. We didn’t have enough time to make it to the beach so would love to base ourselves by the Mediterranean on our next trip 🙂
Really beautiful and luxurious. There are so many good things happening at this hotel. From the food options, the amazing cocktail presentation and most importantly the views. I am definitely bookmarking this as I see it as an option for our trip to Barcelona, some day, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Barcelona is such a beautiful city, this hotel looks comfortable and welcoming
Looks like a wonderful property! A few things I look for when arranging for accommodations are: location, amenities, service and the rooms of course! Great review.
The hotel really looks luxurious. Loved the view from the room and that bed must be so comfortable to lie down the whole day. Love the food presentation as well and the pool.
What a lovely looking hotel and the views from there are just stunning. That food looks so good, I especially the tuna tartar. It looks so yummy that it made my mouth water. I haven’t been to Barcelona in years but I have always wanted to go back and explore more, I would have no hesitation in staying here.
