After spending a day exploring the beautiful Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta, you feel exhausted. All you want to do is to find yourself a quiet oasis to relax and indulge in luxury. I’ve got a perfect place for you: Marival Residences Luxury Resort. How so? Read on to find out why this all-inclusive resort is the ideal place to start your five star holiday in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico!
About Marival Residences Luxury Resort
“Elegant,” “paradise,” and “pampering at its finest” are just a few ways to describe this understatedly gorgeous, luxury resort.
Bounded by the Sierra Madre Mountains and Banderas Bay, Marival Residences sits on a spectacular stretch of golden sand beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Staying at this AAA 4 Diamond property, you can expect quality service. No stress, no worries, just comfort and relaxation. The only thing you need to worry about is soaking up every moment at this tropical beach resort.
The Penthouse Suite: Home Away From Home
Marival Residences gives the convenience of home away from home. All the residences are spacious, beautifully appointed to embrace the feel of the Mediterranean, and fully equipped with a kitchen as well as an in-suite laundry – perfect for those who pack light for vacation!
Of the 162 accommodations, the best are the Penthouse suites. They combine comfort, style and function with a king-sized bed, a separate living space, a full gourmet eat-in kitchen, and an outdoor patio.
If you go to the top floor, there’s even an open deck terrace featuring a private plunge pool and sundeck! Complemented with marvelous views of Banderas Bay in Riviera Nayarit, it had become our favourite place to melt our stress away.
Another thing Kev and I loved dearly was the pillow menu. Marival offers a wide variety of pillow types to ensure our night’s sleep was as peaceful in Nuevo Vallarta as it is at home!
World-Class Beachfront Experience at “Mozza Mare”
There’s no shortage of places to take a refreshing dip at Marival. You can soak up the sun at the central pool, refresh yourself at the adult-only jacuzzi, take a leisurely swim at the winding pool, or better yet, chill at the private plunge pool at your penthouse suite!
But, what if you want to be on the beach? Just last month, the all-inclusive luxury resort added the exclusive VIP “Mozza Mare” to the equation for a better vacation experience!
During the day, you can grab a kayak and head on out to the ocean. Or, sink your toes into the sand flow your way through an energetic yoga practice. When you’re tired, lay back down on a sun lounger and sip on an ice-cold margarita that is brought to you by a server. Life sure is good at Mozza Mare!
Our favourite moment was enjoying a romantic candlelight dinner at the Mozza Mare Restaurant. With sea breezes brushing off our cheeks and stars twinkling in the inky night sky, this was undoubtedly an evening to remember.
Delight in the Selection of International Cuisine
Besides the Mozza Mare Restaurant, you can find 4 other restaurants at the all-inclusive resort, offering a creative selection of international cuisine. While we were a bit disappointed by the lack of Mexico options, we were impressed with Insu Sky Lounge. Not only does it offer delicious dishes from all around the world, it has the perfect vantage point to catch the most captivating sunset view of Banderas Bay.
If you’re interested in something unique, Nicksan at the Residences Plaza serves up mouthwatering Mexican-Japanese fusion cuisine to tantalize the taste buds. We highly recommend the tuna tostada, sashimi serranito, and baked scallops. Although not part of the all-inclusive program, the experience is worth splurging on!
Pamper Yourself at Melange World Spa
Looking to rejuvenate your mind and body? Look no further than Melange World Spa at the Residences Plaza. For an additional cost, you can unwind with a well-deserved self-pamper.
Melange is not your typical spa. It differentiates itself by offering unique spa treatments reproduced from rituals and cultures from 9 different countries. Whether you choose Japan’s “Shiatsu Experience,” Italy’s “Stomping of the Grapes” or Turkey’s “Hamam Ritual,” it is sure to be an unforgettable spa indulgence.
Take Part in Fun Outdoor Activities
Of course, as adventure travelers, we are always interested in exciting outdoor adventures to take part in. Being a guest at Marival Residences, we had the liberty to select one complimentary tour from an ever-changing selection of choices.
During our stay, Kev and I joined an exhilarating zipline tour with Canopy River. We spent the day in the jungle, flying above the river from tree to tree like an eagle! After ziplining, we even got to walk on the longest traffic suspension bridge of the world!
If you’re interested in surfing, the nearby town, Sayulita, is a popular place to hit the waves! You can also find some local artists there showcasing their unique creations.
Or, hire a car and visit Puerto Vallarta. Check out this Puerto Vallarta Travel Guide for suggestions on things to do.
For adventure travelers seeking a luxurious, all-inclusive experience, Marival Residences is a wonderful beach retreat. It has everything you need for a comfortable, stress-free getaway in Nuevo Vallarta.

The resort looks beautiful. I love the infinity plunge pool, but what really excites me is the canopy tour. That looks like good clean fun. I would also go surfing for sure. In fact, I am walking out the door right now for my last San Diego surf trip. We would really enjoy this trip with a dash of luxury and a splash of adventure.
The picture of you in the middle of the bridge is just amazing, India Shirodhara Experience would have been amazing as well, that penthouse suit, now thats luxury.
This place looks like it oozes luxury! Those penthouse suites sound incredible, what a great place to stay, I love that they have the extra living space. Having said that I think I would live in the infinity pool at at the beach in those incredible beach front set ups. Great post, I’m extremely envious!
Out of curiosity, do you know the price of an average stay here? I couldn’t see a mention in the post but I may have missed it 🙂
You had me at private plunge pool! That’s the epitome of luxury. Also like the private laundry. Traveling with a baby is essential to have accessible laundry! Will keep this property in mind.
Looks like amazing time. Love the views from the penthouse windows. Very cool they have a pillow menu. Everyone has different likes in those. Beautiful place.
This is so beautiful! I love your little flamingo cup holder haha, and that spa looks like pure luxury. I need you to plan my next trip!
This is the epitome of luxury! I cannot imagine leaving that penthouse suite for even a minute. The views and the sunshine I could feel coming through your pictures would be enough to satisfy and rejuvenate me without ever coming back down to earth (or lobby level). 🙂
I love Puerto Vallarta but haven’t been to any of the big inclusive resorts. Sayulita keeps getting mentioned as a fun place too. I hope you visited the old town before you left!
Love how there are different pillow options!
You had me at private plunge pool. haha! This place looks beautiful. And love that they have yoga available on the beach. Plus that spa sounds so interesting with rituals from around the world!
Where to start… The view from the balcony over the park and the top deck swimming pool are mind wowing. Then I saw the zip wire… and the suspension bridge… What a thrilling experience!
Wow! What an amazing resort. I was swept away by the private plunge pool. The outdoor activities look like fun and the food looks amazing too. Very luxurious.
This resorts looks amazing and would absolutely love to be there. The one thing is that we have become a bit snobbish and prefer private villas as these feel a bit too commercial and crowded. BUT at least you have your little pool which is fine for us haha. Wine experience seems fun too, we would definitely do it!
Wow everything about the resort looks fantastic especially the suite. But I really love that they have a pillow menu haha because it’s so rare! Overall, it looked like a great trip. Thanks for sharing.
I don’t know what I love most about this – the room, the spa, the rooftop pool, the activities… it seems to have everything! Now I’ve got another addition to my bucket list 🙂
This looks like the perfect place to stay. So Luxurious. The India Shirodhara Experience looks fantastic. I would love to experience this place 😀 Thank you for letting me know about it 😀
Wow this place looks amazing! The food looks delicious. I love that they offer 9 different kinds of spa treatments. I wanna try the grape stomping one haha
Now this is the place I’ve been waiting for – luxury with a view for sure. I have explored plenty of the Pacific beaches in Mexico, but none were as swoon-worthy as this. I’m sure my wallet wouldn’t agree, but a girl can dream, can’t she? I’m putting Nuevo Vallarta on my must-visit list.
Oh my what a gorgeous looking hotel and that view from your balcony is just beautiful, I could easily sit there all day with a glass of wine taking everything in 🙂 I also think that I am sold on the 9 different kinds of spa treatments yes please!! I have not been to Nuevo Vallarta before but I definitely add this to my list.
It’s so nice to see a post on Nuevo Vallarta, and not just Puerto Vallarta! I could just imagine sitting at Mozza Mare and eating that calamari on the beach. A pretty perfect resort.
This looks gorgeous! That pool is amazing!!! I’ve never stayed in a Penthouse suite but I might have to put it on my list of things to do now, and this one looks even better than most! That balcony view!!
Wow. So much luxury to enjoy in Marival Residences Luxury Resort. The report lives up to its name. The candlelight dinner, the beach view, the spa, and the cuisine. Inahd better check this resort out whenever I visit Mexico. It’s just too perfect.
That resort looks amazing! I’ve been to Puerto Vallarta a few times, but haven’t stayed at this resort before. I’ll definitely look into it before I go next time!
I’ve never stayed in a penthouse before – but I can see why it’s so popular! I’ll have to keep this place in mind when I go to Mexico. I have those flamingo koozies as well haha.
My cousin had told me about this resort! This place looks so luxurious and classy. The beach and the pool – i would have booked the place just for that. Your post has surely added the resort in my to be considered list for my trip to Mexico.
I love how luxurious the resort looks! Especially from the infinity pool. I really must visit the touristy areas of Mexico next time!
All inclusive luxury resort sounds like the easiest thing as we don’t have to plan much and just enjoy the holiday, Love the look of the spa and definitely wanna try those outdoor activities!
Wow what a stunning resort! Everything about your stay looks perfect. I’m a massive foodie and you’ve won me over, the food at Nicksan looks so good!
Oh wow I love Mexico, any excuse to return there anytime, and that penthouse suite looks incredible! What really won me over though was your review of the Mozza Mare. I sometimes find 5-star luxury a bit boring (I know first world problems!) But the Marival Resort in your review sounds like they get it right with a balance between activities and relaxation!
Nuevo Vallarta seems like a paradise on Earth, Cat. Plus, that hotel is simply breathtaking and luxurious. You definitely had a wonderful stay there. How many days would you recommend staying in Nuevo Vallarta?
